The medals listed in the Combat Section are awarded to Marines that have fought bravely and represented the 101st in combat over a sustained length of time.

Combat is defined as any official battle which is fought in the name of the 101st Colonial Marines against an external force/clan.

Combat is not:

Internal 101st training operations.

Internal league or ladder tournament matches.
