The SBD is the highest honour the 101st can bestow on one of its Marines. The only combined administrative/combat medal, it can only be awarded by the Commander to recognise long sustained service to the clan that has been consistantly above and beyond the call of duty. The medal is named after CO Stalker who was one of the founding members of the 101st Colonial Marines.
